Dr William Rieger

Dr Rieger is a highly experienced General Practitioner with special interests in chronic disease management, lifestyle and wellbeing medicine, and skin cancer medicine. He works closely with patients to optimise long-term health outcomes and to make sustainable lifestyle changes that improve both physical and mental health. He also holds additional qualifications in the management of skin cancer and skin conditions.

With over 25 years of General Practice experience in a rural setting, Dr Rieger has developed broad clinical expertise across all ages and

presentations, including significant experience in emergency medicine and the management of acute, undifferentiated illness. He particularly enjoys caring for children and families, and finds great satisfaction in supporting patients through every stage of life.

Dr Rieger qualified in South Africa before emigrating to Australia in 1998. He has recently moved to Geelong to be closer to his grandchildren and is delighted to be welcoming new patients of all ages. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys hiking, playing golf, and bird watching.
