Dr Shruthi Venkatesh

Dr Shruthi Venkatesh is a newly Fellowed GP with a passion for providing comprehensive, patient-centred care across all ages and stages of life. She enjoys the variety that general practice offers, with particular interests in women’s health, paediatrics, and chronic disease management. She is experienced in providing contraceptive and menopause therapy (MHT) counselling, and can perform Implanon insertions.

She completed her undergraduate medical degree in India before moving back to Melbourne, where she gained extensive clinical experience working at Monash Health for four years. Having grown up in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne,  she decided to relocate to Geelong to enjoy the beautiful beaches and escape the hustle of city traffic.

Outside of work, she loves exploring new restaurants, attending live music events, and staying active through sport. She also enjoys playing board games with her husband and spending time with her adorable cat.

Dr Venkatesh is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all her patients and looks forward to building long-term connections within the Grovedale community.
