General Practitioner – Full Time, Permanent

We have a vacancy for a GP (full-time, permanent) to join the team at your choice of 3 fantastic locations – Torquay Medical Health and Wellness Clinic, Myers Street Family Medical Practice and The Cottage Medical Centre Grovedale. Part-time and Casual positions are also available upon request!

The ideal GP for this position is one who enjoys working in a busy dynamic environment, and practises a combination of reactive (more acute on demand) and preventative care for their patients. Special interests in diabetes management and preventative medicine would especially compliment the group and attract patients wishing to break old bad habits that have lead to chronic disease and create health burdens with them. Flexibility to work both weekdays and regular evening or regular weekend shifts would be considered highly with the applicant. This position is for a VR Doctor or a GP who can access VR rates via exemption.

We are happy to support a 19AB/DWS application however this may limit the shifts to the after hours period due to DHS and Medicare conditions.
