George Atkins

George has ten years’ experience working in private practice and sports physiotherapy settings. In George’s latest role he was the Senior Physiotherapist at the Geelong Football Club (AFL). As well as this experience, George has also worked as the physiotherapist for various sporting teams including Geelong VFL, Geelong VFLW, Geelong Falcons, and Geelong Supercats (Basketball).

Having experience working in the elite sporting environment, George has a systematic approach to injury rehabilitation with a clear focus on patient education and empowerment.

George’s commitment to his clients is evident with his desire to complete ongoing professional development as he will complete his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy in early 2022.

Whilst he treats all injuries, he has a special interest in acute sporting injuries related to the knee, hip and groin and shoulder as well as lower limb soft tissue and tendon injuries.
