To sustain a healthy body, we need a balance of protein, fats such as omega3, and carbohydrates also importantly minerals, vitamins, and fiber. This does not mean eliminating the food we love, but consider balancing out with other healthy options, for example, eating bacon for breakfast once a week.
It’s important to take note of how your plate is divided, vegetables fill half the plate, other half divided into equal quarters, one filled with lean protein and the other with whole grain or starchy vegetables. Another habit that can help as a way to curb hunger in a healthy way and keep one from overeating at mealtimes is consuming healthy snacks.
