Don’t delay prevention. Take three simple steps to help keep Australian hearts healthy.

EHeart Week is a campaign that raises awareness about heart health on a national scale in Australia. It takes place during the first week of May each year and presents an occasion for healthcare professionals and the general public to initiate discussions about heart health and take necessary actions to minimize the risk of heart disease.

As we celebrate this year’s Heart Week, we strongly advise Australians to prioritize their heart health by engaging in three simple yet effective practices. These include keeping a check on their blood pressure, utilizing the Heart Age Calculator to evaluate their risk of heart disease, and scheduling a Heart Health Check with their general practitioner.

Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in Australia and every 30 minutes, one Australian loses their life to heart disease. But many cases are preventable through early detection and management. By taking a Heart Health Check, you can identify risk factors and make necessary lifestyle changes to reduce your risk of developing heart disease.
